Beatrice has spent much of her career in the public sector, where she helped a variety of people to obtain government benefits. Why is that similar to getting you a mortgage? Beatrice helped people with often-complex applications, assisted them in finding the appropriate benefit, and made sure they got the funding they needed. In the mid 80's she ran her own business as a red tape specialist, helping entrepreneurs, students, and artists get funding from various levels of government.
